Our commitment
Oceanus wants this website to be usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium, and we review the site against them as it changes.
What we have done
- semantic HTML with a logical heading structure and landmark regions, so screen readers can navigate by section;
- a “skip to content” link and keyboard-operable controls throughout, with visible focus indicators;
- text alternatives for meaningful images, and descriptive labels for the diagrams on the Approach page;
- colour contrast checked against the AA thresholds on every surface, including the translucent cards and the top bar;
- respect for the “reduce motion” preference: scroll animations, hover motion, and the background video rest when it is set, and no content depends on animation to appear;
- nothing hidden or disabled when JavaScript is unavailable, and text that scales with your browser settings;
- the language of each edition declared, so screen readers select the right voice for English, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.
Known limitations
- background video and photography are decorative and carry no information;
- typefaces are loaded from a third-party service; if you block it, the site falls back to your system fonts and remains usable;
- documents we provide to eligible investors on request may be in formats that are not fully accessible; we will provide them in an alternative format on request.
